Job Description

A position has opened up on our team for a Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) Coordinator working 24–32 hours per week. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving quality, safety, and environmental performance within our organization.

What exactly will you be doing?

As a Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) Coordinator, you play a crucial role in monitoring and improving our quality standards, safety, and environmental policy. You ensure that our processes comply with both legal requirements and the high standards our customers expect from us.
You will develop, optimize, and implement policies related to quality, occupational health and safety, and the environment.
You will improve quality, safety, and environmental performance and report on these areas.
You will provide guidance and respond to inquiries from external parties.
You provide advice and support regarding compliance with QHSE guidelines. You maintain the RI&E and identify risks and opportunities.
You develop improvement plans and oversee their implementation.
You promote awareness and a proactive approach to quality, safety, and the environment.
You stay up to date on laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
You will work closely with your colleagues in the Facilities Department.

Your Profile

You have completed a technical associate’s degree program, preferably in Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime or manufacturing industry.
You have a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
You have excellent communication skills and know how to build support.

You are proactive and have a strong sense of responsibility. You know how to build support for improvements and are able to translate policy into practical applications on the job. In addition, you work with precision, have an analytical mindset, and are attentive to both people and the organization.
