Job Description
A position has opened up on the Finance team at Vitters Shipyard for an Assistant Controller working 32–38 hours per week.
What exactly will you be doing?
You are very meticulous and passionate about handling financial administration down to the last detail; you are just as enthusiastic about your role in ensuring accurate project accounting. Together with your fellow assistant controller, you’re responsible for accounts payable and ensuring that invoices are paid accurately and on time. In addition, you’ll perform various support tasks related to financial administration and assist with preparing reports.
In addition to financial administration, you will also handle payroll for our companies. Your responsibilities will include collecting and processing payroll changes and verifying the corresponding output. In addition, you will handle the onboarding and offboarding of employees in AFAS. Together with the HR department, you will register all employees and temporary workers and ensure that the related paperwork is in order. You will periodically review the time tracking and time processing for all employees.
